This is a joint exhibition to promote Hong Kong designs by three renowned designers: Steve Leung, Dennis Chan and Tino Kwan.

I was in charge of executing this project, from designing all graphic materials to placement of each exhibit. Graphic materials include: banners, pamphlets, logo, panel layouts etc. This exhibition was displayed in Hong Kong's ifc shopping mall for public viewing.

Objective:
To redesign landing pages for our product pages to be more exciting and bold. To make it look different than our competitors.

Challenges:
There was a lot of content that needed to be on these pages. It was very difficult to find the balance between making it visually appealing and incorporating a lot of information.

Process:
I focused on the story-telling aspect and wanted to take the user step by step on how our product works in an easily digestible way. I wanted the visuals to be very bold and different from any financial website so I used a lot of illustrations and colors to guide the users along the way down the page. I made sure enough information were displayed for the users to understand our products while sticking to our brand guidelines.

Objective:
To create a set of animated illustrations to compliment the text on the webpage. The illustration is part of the travel tip section of the webpage.

Challenges:
The set of illustrations have to be aligned with our brand values and also follow the rules of our brand guidelines. It was challenging to make the illustrations fun and quirky but yet have a serious tone.

Process:
I read over the copy that was provided by our in house copywriter and started brainstorming what elements I can piece together to tell a story. I then collaborated with the design team and started sketching out each element. In the end we decided to go with a skyline approach to give these objects life. Since we are a travel brand, it also made sense to create a cityscape for objects you don't usually see as landscape elements.

Objective:
To produce an annual publication showcasing Steve Leung's designs for the past year.

Challenges:
With so many projects each year, it was hard to narrow down which projects make it into the book. Organizing photoshoots for each project was also time consuming.

Process:
Go through the project list with Steve and narrow down which projects he wants to feature in this year's book. After the list is confirmed, I will coordinate with our photographer to have him take photos of these projects, in which I usually tag along to provide art direction. After receiving and processing all photos, I start layout design along with our other graphic designer. After design is approved, I was responsible for contacting our print vendor and QC the entire process (from selecting paper stocks to color matching photos).
