Don’t SOC-block your best engineer

Objective:
Create a brand awareness campaign targeted towards our startup audience.

Obstacles:
This was our first ever large-scale ad campaign that consists of an OTT production, OOH buys and industry events.

Process:
Working with our creative director and copywriters we wanted to focus on a headline driven campaign. This headline needed to turn heads but in a smart yet spicy way. Our headlines are known for being niche and witty, so sticking with that theme, we landed on “Don’t SOC-block your best engineer”, giving a nod to getting SOC2 compliant.

We worked with a creative agency for the OTT shoot. From concepting to storyboarding to writing the script. The OTT focuses on a startup founder “needing” to break the flow of an engineer to get SOC2 compliant because he needed it…yesterday.

The campaign was a success, many founders found the humor funny yet sophisticated. We painted SF purple with our bold billboards, turning heads left and right.

Fun fact: designed an energy drink for the campaign as a swag item to give away.
